Hence, it should come as no surprise to see a new title set in this universe, especially if it follows a pretty successful one that's part of the same series. The Star Wars universe is convoluted enough to allow for a variety of interpretations, since it is based on an extensive lore, with plenty of characters, events and background stories to fuel almost any kind of rendition, whether it's a movie, a book, or yet another video game.
