It makes references to her depression and how she doesn’t want to wake up, except for when the sunshine comes.

The DDLC Purist Mod began development in September 2017 shortly after Doki Doki Literature Club's release, initially with development members GarnetSunset, Tabuukilla, and Syzygy. The mod includes over 60 minutes of original soundtrack composed by Matt Twigg, consisting of 20 tracks, which released on the 22nd August 2018. The mod includes several pieces of original art created by artists including Temachii and PeachCake as well as several others. The DDLC Purist Mod added 11+ hours of additional playtime to the base game, with each girl having a full-length route with at least one good and one bad ending.
